What about motivation?

Boredom is the biggest reason most people give for not succeeding when trying to learn a new language. When I first set about designing "Portuguese language course" I knew that I had to find a way to keep learners engaged and coming back for more.
I thought long and hard about what it was that helped me when I first started learning English, and I asked other language learners what they thought too. Here’s what I came up with:
Learners need support;
with the learning material and with the process of learning. Not many people learn well without feedback from their peers, and from the people doing the teaching.

Learners need to feel like they’re individuals, like they’re important, and that their learning is right for them.
Learners need to know where they are at with their learning. They need to know that what they’ve learned is correct and that they’ve actually learned it.
And Julia was no different. She wanted to know that she was doing well, and that she could learn in a way that suited her. Here’s how "Portuguese language course" ticked those boxes for her.

Success Story by Stephanie Miller (USA):
“Not only does the style of teaching make sense, but it's easy to follow and it’s actually pretty fun... it's convenient to use, portable, accessible from any PC. I can listen to it in my car, login and listen at work, or at home."
